This website link, is absolutely perfect for use in my animal research, and inspiration on creating weird animal hybrids.

The animal featured in this illustration is entitled, 'Squirwolf'. It is of a half Wolf, half flying Squirrel. This image is my favourite example photo from the site, I love the animals used, and I think they work well together, the animal in a way looks like it would be a feasible, and believable creature. There are other examples of strange animal hybrids of course, that I will detail below this image.

This image features another strange animal hybrid, of a half Shrimp, half Bird (maybe a parrot).
This webpage provides excellent examples, and also gives me some inspiration of what can be created in the latter part of the assignment, which is to come up with four A3 creations, of non-existant, fictional animals.
I have pretty much thought of my four already, but I will take some inspiration from this post, and reflect this in my final animal hybrid pieces.
I will add to this :)
Thomas.
